iPhone 17: Wi-Fi and CarPlay connectivity bugs (9to5mac.com)

Hi 👋 anyone affected by these lately? I only noticed at home today WiFi flipped on my 17 Pro, then flipped back from cellular to WiFi all while using it. I have WiFi assist ON in settings, so idk if this might be the culprit.

On CarPlay witnessed micro cuts during music playback, although not that often tbh.

iPhone 17Pro, AW Series 9. I can briefly connect to CarPlay but then it disconnects after a couple of seconds. I’m on iOS 26.1 Beta on phone and watch.

have you tried to connect to CarPlay without the watch on your wrist & disconnected from Bluetooth (iPhone)

No, I did read about that but have not tried it. I’ll test it on my commute tomorrow, thanks.

I’m on a 16 pro max and updated to 26 and my Bluetooth is constantly disconnecting my headphones and AirPods since the update.

People are saying it has something to do if you have an apple watch connected… not sure but I haven’t had any issues.

iPhone 14 Pro on Beta since the first developer-Version. I have no problems and never had any with connectivity.

26.0.1 fixed this for me
