I have an M3 iMac which is my main device but still have an older M1 Mini and it is still rapid! If I want to stream legally bought content on my main tv then I can just pop it in there or grab a monitor from the attic and set up a second computer for the wife.
Runs Divinity original Sin smoothly too.

My main is an M2 Air, so I’ll use the M1 at work so I can finally give my creaking 2014 mini the retirement it deserves. But not before I’ve given Asahi a proper airing on it to see whether I can daily drive it.

I have basically no need of one of these right now, but damn do I want one.
It’s pretty hot, but I need a laptop a little bit more than I need a desktop right now. So I’m looking at those bad ass MacBook Pros.
I’m typing this on mine that arrived yesterday. I’m really enjoying this little sucker.
My dad took delivery of his today, and asked me to help him set it up. I’ve inherited his M1 mini now, which I’m looking forward to finding uses for.

Taking it that Asahi is a program? In the UK it’s a Japanese beer so I was momentarily confused haha!
I’m also in the UK, so yeah…
But yeah, it’s a Linux distro based on Fedora that’s been developed to run on M-series Mac hardware.
