Legitimately thanks for posting this. I’ve often wondered why people choose BSD over Linux, and this was a good insight for me.
This helped my understand why TrueNAS and many routers are based on BSD. Thanks for sharing!
Some of these are fine but “network files” and “docker” arguments are a joke.
Half of this is “we just prefer this because we’re used to it.”
