Decentralized networks and communities were always part of Solarpunk. They pre-date Solarpunk by many years and Solarpunk was largely created within them and around them (despite some partially true claim it started on centralized Tumblr).
IMHO the Fediverse needs more Solarpunk, not the other way around.
Why shouldn’t the idea of Solarpunk operate as a subset of Solarpunk, in the form of an interface between Solarpunk and the Fediverse?
Totally agree. It would be cool to have some variant of our own that we can share with the world.
