Is there a place to request AMAs? I wouldn't mind hearing from a cryptkeeper...

What is that and how would we know the difference between an (in)authentic cryptkeeper?

Be the change you want to see in the world. Time for a new career!

Granted!

!askmeanything@lemmy.ca probably allows requests

Actually getting a reliable stream of AMAs going could be just what Lemmy needs to really grow, it was a primary engagement point for Reddit.

Does anyone know how that all started or how to replicate the approach built by them?

Have one really dedicated and passionate person moderate and reach out to people for AMAs.

Probably create a meta post on !askmeanything@lemmy.ca asking people to offer what AMAs they could do and then organize the ones with the most votes

Reddit went to shit after Obama’s ama, so we got a solid 6 years of good Lemmy content
