All up for me (Frankfurt IP Address, FF nightly)

Blaze@lemmy.zip on 04 Aug 19:08 next collapse

Same here

Pro@mander.xyz on 04 Aug 19:40 collapse

I checked after seeing your comment:

  • .dev is still down for me.
  • Reddthat is back, but I am not sure if it’s back for good or it will have problems later.
30p87@feddit.org on 04 Aug 20:03 next collapse

.dev is slow, but not down

Fuckfuckmyfuckingass@lemmy.world on 04 Aug 22:06 collapse

Something something never buy a car from a mechanic.

30p87@feddit.org on 05 Aug 06:32 collapse

Well it does make a significant difference for diagnosing; multiple being slow can mean they’re just (D)DOS’d (eg. by scrapers), and the unaffected use Anubis, know the user agents, blocked the IPs etc.; down could mean that the latest lemmy update had a bug and is crashing.

You know, maybe you are just banned. Haha

minnix.dev seems to have been abandoned:

!sbcs@lemux.minnix.dev

Admin hasn’t posted in 5 months and images aren’t working for me.

Got to admit, this is extremely annoying with the threadiverse, especially in context of people pushing for decentralization too much.

I am all for decentralization, but you need a functional, long-term foundation first.

Skavau@piefed.social on 04 Aug 19:12 next collapse

To be fair, minnix.dev seems like a very marginal instance.

Alphane_Moon@lemmy.world on 05 Aug 05:36 collapse

Yeah, it’s pretty small, but it had a few tech communities that were neat.

sabreW4K3@lazysoci.al on 04 Aug 22:25 collapse

Super sad. I was posting there too

Skavau@piefed.social on 04 Aug 19:11 next collapse

Both seem up for me.

bacon_pdp@lemmy.world on 04 Aug 19:17 next collapse

Load goes up with the number of users. So spikes in usage are effectively a distributed denial of service attack. Be sure to support your instance.

schnurrito@discuss.tchncs.de on 04 Aug 19:20 next collapse

I had some problems accessing my instance for a few minutes earlier today, but right now everything is working smoothly.

cRazi_man@europe.pub on 04 Aug 19:27 next collapse

Europe.pub seemed to be down for a little while last night as well.

Nougat@fedia.io on 04 Aug 19:50 next collapse

fedia.io is being slow.

melroy@kbin.melroy.org on 04 Aug 20:06 collapse

Maybe inform Jerry Bell if this is a persistent issue.

Nougat@fedia.io on 04 Aug 20:17 collapse

Already posted over there about it! :)

Mwa@thelemmy.club on 04 Aug 20:29 next collapse

Thought it was only for thelemmy.club but its rare and only happened for a hour or smth

DFX4509B@lemmy.wtf on 09 Aug 01:29 collapse

lemmy.org has been down for a while now, even. I just set up a new account on lemmy.wtf because I assume it might not come back at this point.

Update: lemmy.org is back up, for now, and hopefully it stays up this time, but I got an account set up on lemmy.wtf as a backup should lemmy.org become more unstable in the near future.
