From the video, it looks like a lot (but not all) of the gameplay is forced into 2.5D controls. If this is the case, then I think it'll probably work out pretty well.

It seems like they’re doing it justice, and it looks like it will have a proper meaty feel to it
Man, I wish them all of the luck in the world, but I have never seen a 3D platformer with tight movement and you do need tight movement for a brutally hard game, otherwise it just feels brutally bullshit.
