Sony Increases PS5 Controller Prices in US, Europe, and More (www.pushsquare.com)

I think it’s absolutely appalling that Sony is raising prices on controllers while basically under supplying the dual sense edge joysticks and refusing to fix the stick drift issues. I have 3 controllers and each one of them has the same problem after a few months. It’s maddening.

Do yourself a favor and learn to fix the issue yourself. Take the controller apart and clean the contacts and remove any debris. Youtube is your friend here.

Then just keep an eye on craigslist for used controllers. A lot of people just sell them as broken, or try to get away with selling them as working. The repair only takes like 15 minutes, and it can pay for itself if you start selling the service to friends.

Stop buying consoles when PC gaming is empirically better?

Windows.

Lmao shoot your own foot I guess. People will buy 3rd party instead of official when the prices get too high. It was already nearly as much as a AAA title to get a single controller.

Are there cheap 3rd party ps5 controller. I only know some 3rd party “pro” variant which are even more expensive than the Edge.

After five minutes of half-assed searching, ya’ll got it bad. What the fuck is that.

I considered getting a dualsense before for pcgaming, but the stick issues pushed me away when other alternatives have hall effect sticks and grip buttons without paying the price of the dualsense edge.
