Besides having login issues with the stupid microsoft panel, 4 and 5 ran fine. But to be honest, I don’t really feel like spending money on a corporation, that doesn’t give a fuck about anything other than maximizing profits through cutting every corner imaginable

Thats why we shop indie. Having the time of my life, playing all of these incredible games
Its still somewhat unusual for publishers to kill their own games leaving only the newest. Forza 5 is the only Forza game available, and its $60 outside of sales.

What does any of that have to do with the original question? I mean you just described just about every for-profit company.

Even for a teaser trailer that was pretty lite on any details.

It had the one detail that matters to fans of the franchise: where it’s going to be set.
Finally. We’ve been asking for this one since Horizon 1.

Please don’t let this be $80, but I’m afraid that this is likely what it’s gonna cost :/

Don’t worry you can just buy one of the older games in the series for less money, oh no they’re not for sale any more, guess they’re abandonware then.

Ye but they get old after a while. Hope FH6 is going to be more its own game. I really felt like 5 was just a map pack for 4. But uh that’s a different conversation.

Judging from the past releases, I’m betting:
$60-70 (70-80€) Base Game
$80-90 (90-100€) Deluxe Edition that includes like 20% of the total cars and like a week earlier access
$100-120 (110-130€) Premium Edition that includes the Deluxe and future DLC
Plus some pre-order exclusive cars and cosmetics

Bro people are already jizzing their pants at the reveal this is set in Japan, you can get way more out of them than $120. Base game won’t be under $70 for sure.
And also like 2 tiers of advanced access (maybe 2 and 5 days).

Hm interesting setting
It’s about time. Been wanting this setting all along.
Yeah I skipped the last one but might actually be interested in this one

5 has long overstayed its welcome.
OK ok.. Does it run on Linux?
Maybe? It’s Microsoft, so not natively. But Proton is pretty awesome.
Yeah, Horizon was one of the go to demonstrations for the Steam Deck when it first came out.
OK that sounds promising. It's not like EA which will break Linux on every game due to kernel level anti-cheat.

I just hope the load times dont take forever…
I’ll probably catch a little flak, but it’s sad to see the Forza name live on only through Horizons now. Motorsport was a great game.
