Today’s game is Super Mario Galaxy. I got today off, and you know what i did? I laid in a chair with a heating pad and just binged the fuck out of this game. I cleared the entire kitchen today and even got all the main stars in the Terrace. I even had headphones with Noise Cancelling so i got the full Mario Galaxy OST treatment. It. Was. Wonderful. If you have a Steam Deck or even just a comfy gaming chair, i’d fully suggest it lol.

While redoing the first area i went onto the bow of the ship. I went here so many times growing up because it was one of those niche “You technically are allowed here, but i don’t know why you’d want to be here” spaces. I used to like hiding out here and just chilling for some reason. No clue why.

I also did Beach Bowl and got to look at the creepy ass penguins. I still have flashbacks from SM64 so i’m not a fan of these feathered assholes. Though, this is by far the best time i’ve seen them. All the other levels they drive me crazy in.

I also did the Speed Comet for this level. It was a bit overwhelming but i did it first try. I tried to get a cool ass screenshot of the star in the Crystal, but it came out bad unfortunately because i couldn’t get a good angle.

I ended up stopping for the day in the observatory and just kicked back with my headphones and listened to the OST. It was calming. Even mario nearly fell asleep listening too it.
