I am amused to report that this is a legally distinct definitely-not-Zachtronics company that just happens to have two guys (including Zach) from Zachtronics in.
… But yeah, they’re back, whoo!

Wtf
New Zachtronixs game dropping wasn’t on my 2025 bingo card
Can’t really go wrong with any of their games but Infinifactory and EXAPUNKS are my favs.

EXAPUNKS and Last Call BBS have the most flavour IMO. TIS-100 and Shenzhen I/O are also very good.
Honestly, all of them are worth trying so that you can see which ones are for you. They're all pretty different (with a couple of exceptions), especially MOLEK-SYNTEZ.

It's horrible of you to post this when it's not out yet, now I have to wait to buy it. D:<
(Comments on the article mention that Zach said in an unofficial Discord that they're looking at releasing this summer but nothing concrete.)

Zachtronics is back!! Was bummed when they said they weren’t making anymore games, guess they just changed names.
They made some of the best programming games out there for anyone that hasn’t heard of them.
Oh shit you’re right, that is great news !

I’ve not heard of Zachtronics, but love puzzle games. Do you have a recommended one of theirs?
Edit: thanks everyone!
All of them are pretty great! I’ve played a bunch of Shenzhen/IO, and it taught me a lot about low-level programming.
Depends on what you like, I suggest that you check them out yourself
I'd say Opus Magnum is the best entry point for beginners, no programming knowledge needed.
