With the best workers wanting remote work, not sure what they expect to get from opening an office in Austin. Traffic is terrible, office space costs a ton, and Noone will apply to work in their office.

If I had to guess, tax breaks.

They’ll get enough young people who are enchanted by the ideas of living in a “hip” city and/or making video games
Aren’t taxes and benefits better for companies in Texas?
Just another office where they will layoff a team when the profits aren’t high enough.
