Today’s is some more Final Fantasy 7 Remake. After catching up with my younger self, i was excited to progress some more. This section felt like an interesting change of pace compared to the last few. They had me running around doing a lot of fighting in those, while this one felt far more relaxed and had me delivering flowers. Of course there still was some fighting, but not nearly as much as the last few.

I met my first real challenge in that chapter in the boss fight with Rude. Reno was pretty easy to deal with. Just bait him into lunge and counter attack. But with Rude he locks me into a ton of attacks which doesn’t let me react. Counter that with my lack of supplies i picked up and it was a challenge. I initially failed the first time, but planned to just reload my last Checkpoint and go back and try again with new materials.

You’ll notice i said that i planned to do that. That’s because when i loaded my last checkpoint it set me back by about 30 minutes. It’s not a major loss, but did kill a little bit of my motivation for the day (it also explains why today was so short). I went ahead and sat it down and will pick it up again tomorrow. I’m sure i could use the break anyways.

Top screenshot looks really picturesque.

The first screenshot for me is Rude pulling a wrestling move on Cloud, so I’m really wondering if I’m missing a joke…

This is on voyager/mobile, so on desktop I guess it would be the attach image, not the first body image.

I wasn’t refering to the fighting screenshot. :)

OH I see it now. Yeah, the area with Aerith’s house is gorgeous, and I was already enamoured with it in the OG with PS1 graphics. Remake really is great with the environments.
