I finally found the game, it’s Gestalt_OS www.increpare.com/game/gestalt_os.html Hello, I played a puzzle game somewhat 4 years ago, but I don’t remember the name. The game is about placing symbols on a grid to get to a specific solution. Each symbols has a functionality, like copying other symbols, or move them, but the functionality is not described, we have to guess what it is. IIRC 40 (it is 50 actually) challenges to solve, and the game is a game playable on online browser. Do you guys know what it this game’s name?

Is it krackocloud.itch.io/gridspech?
Thanks, but it’s not this game. The visual style is pixelated, and blue purple colors.
Do you remember where you played it?
It sounds/looks a little like some of the stuff from bontegames.

Ok, thanks to your link, and searching related games, I found it : games.increpare.com/Gestalt_OS/
Might want to update your other post too.
I wish more games had a “thanks for playing” type message at the end.

Nintendo games do that a lot. Most Mario games (some of them in Charles Martinet’s voice), StarFox, Metroid (with occasional thumbs-up/waving at player), F-Zero…
Thank you so much for to playing my game!
i see you found it already, but this reminds me of ohip’s challenge
So wholesome, I love when crashes used to have errors like this too “fatal error: Dave, you were supposed to fix this last week”
I’ve seen an error that said “how in the world did you get this? It shouldn’t be possible”
