This is my very first YouTube video! đ
I canât wait for the Pro! But many ask, Whatâs the point? I try to answer this question and discuss how it will benefit the entire gaming industry even if most people donât buy one.

Incoming: Games that look just as good as launch PS4, but with far, far less time spent on optimization.
A few, but youâre going to see a flood of UE5 games soon
Youâre blind or have a shit TV.
You canât even compare late, pre-PS5, PS4 games and the launch PS4 games.
They should make one, but itâs twice as big and emits an ominous tritone drone even while on standby.
Iâll buy one if itâs âjailbrokenâ i.e. built like itâs a thing you own not a subscription service. Everyone I know who owns the 5 like I do use it for exclusives. Bloodborne is the biggest selling point for me so ffs just unlock the fps already itâs been 9 years.
Why in the world does this have so many downvotes? Lemmy voters can be so hostile to content, and then commenters seem cool. I donât understand it at all.
Congrats on your first video! Itâs well shot. I want the PS5 pro to drop so I can talk me brother into getting it and giving me his PS5.
I think itâs vehement disagreement with the premise, or in other words âWe donât need a PS5 Proâ.
One explanation for the sentiment is that people have already invested a significant chunk of their limited savings into the mammoth PS5 - and want that to provide them some of the best games on offer. Theyâre worried that after a Pro, they will become second citizen or get downscaled games.
Even if you provide an answer like âBut that wonât happenââŚthey donât trust that answer. Trust is not common in consumer sentiment right now.
