Nintendo, when you ask for a warranty repair that definitely isn’t water damage.

Nintendo has a history of BS repair refusals.
I had an LCD failure on a GBA, they said it was dropped when it wasn’t and I found photo evidence of a retail unit with the same size and shape failure.
My guy did not open it up to show us so I guess we will never know.
He did show a video of someone else tearing down a brand new one and it already had rust inside so that is suspicious and we’ll know in short order if that becomes a widespread issue.
Imagine Nintendo having to recall 5M Switch 2s 😬

Isn’t this common? From what I know water damage isn’t covered under warranty by anyone.
It sounds like the water indicator stickers did not change color. But they said that water can still get in / water damage can occur regardless.
Nobody does, the problem is claiming water damage with no evidence.

Remember, Nintendo is a corporation and never on the side of the consumer. They are literal clowns - on the surface they are colorful and try and make you laugh, but inside they are dead and soulless.

Is that why they called it "the switch"? Like Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

They did fix it, but it was like pulling teeth.
The title here seems misleading, in Nintendo’s favour. Apparently Nintendo claims there is water damage to get around a repair.

I also asked for a picture and they flatly refused that they don’t do that. – www.reddit.com/r/consolerepair/…/n1y1kga/
Lol they’ll also say the same in humid environments when there is no water damage, but the humidity has changed the stickers.
Sooo...
Uhh...
Japan ?
Can’t imagine why, water takes up most of our planet.
So I shouldn’t have put it in the toilet? FUCK
The more I hear about the Switch 2, the more appropriate that seems…
Know this thread is all shitting on Nintendo, but what company DOES repair water damaged electronics?
