Honestly, it still amazes me that this never got successfully ripped and emulated. Iāve heard that itās because there isnāt a reliable PS4 emulator, but frankly that surprises me as well. Iād think that the sheer popularity of this game alone would encourage one to be made pretty heavily, especially since this game looks to be on track to becoming lost media otherwise.
I have this running on pc. Itās out there. Just need to find it. Itās been a few years, so I donāt remember where I got it. Sorryā¦
Itās called Unreal PT. The last version I believe is 1.0.7, and itās still hosted on the Internet Archive.
Maybe shadPS4 will (eventually) manage it?

We were robbed of a potential masterpiece of horror media.
I eat horror for breakfast, itās one of my favourite genres. Games, movies, novels, comics, you name it. Playing P.T. for the first time was the most unsettling, paranoid, anxiety inducing experience I have ever had in the genre. And the almost hysterical community at the time trying to piece together this demented puzzle was an extra layer of mystery and madness.
Ultimately we donāt know what the finished product would have been like, but I have a hard time imagining anything else but a master class in horror.
Kojimas new horror game OD will likely be good, Iām sure. But you can only do a game like P.T. once, and that boat has sailed.
Same boat here š. I can still remember when I first heard it was officially cancelled. Iāve never been more devastated by any media being cancelled than this
It really was so sad when they cancelled it. It also sucked when Konami removed it from the Playstation store. Every few months Iāll be sitting around doing something unrelated when my brain is like āmember P.T.?ā ahā¦ At least we got to experience this playable teaser before it was all canned.
