I bought my nephew a used thinkpad as a gift and installed Bazzite as it was recommended by the community. The text was tiny so I increased font size by 1.5, but certain windows like steam updating are still tiny and impossible to read. I want to give him the best experience possible out of the box. What setting do I need to change?

You are probably looking for “scaling”
Was about to comment that too
It’s in the display settings FYI
Thanks, I’ll give it a shot!
Thanks, this was it, it’s in display settings for anyone else wondering.
I’m actually now having the issue when I install things with wine. The text on the header on top of the window is normal, but the installer is tiny. Not a huge issue, just weird. Games are mostly fine when I run them so no big deal.
Is it using Wayland or x11? Try switching to X11 if on wayland. Theres a scaling issue on wayland in certain versions where it thinks your screen is a MUCH higher resolution than it actually is. Its meant to help with high dpi displays by using digital pixels but on lower dpi displays it can mess up stuff especially in certain software like games.
