If you installed them using the official instructions then they are updated with the rest of the system, and modules are automatically compiled for all installed kernels.

In theory yes, but twice I have had nvidia driver update be incompatible with my opensuse, and had to wait a week or so

Out of date Nvidia drivers was the main reason I moved from Tumbleweed to EndeavourOS, at the time they were a couple of generations behind and didn’t even have explicit sync.

Things like this are why I use AMD.
