TLDR: SerpentOS rebranded
How does it compare to NixOS?
way more simple to use and maintain for users. aerynos behaves almost exactly like a traditional distro with the exception of the /usr stuff
I’m wondering since they mention “it’s not a Linux distro” if they will expand these tools to other kernels like RedoxOS ?
Cool, but… why not just NixOS?
Why not Slackware?
aerynos is pretty much just another distro as far as the user is concerned. extremely user/normie friendly unlike nix, and unlike fedora silverblue it doesn’t have a bunch of dumb limitations like forcing the user to use containers.
