Having a CEO that makes $6M as a nonprofit and putting out those confusing terms, however, is unacceptable. They made $37M just on investments, and they can’t afford a marketing team that can figure out how to put out something understandable and clear? Ridiculous.
Agree. Firefox is still the best browser option. I don’t believe they intended to fuck the users. This is more Hanlon’s Razon. “Don’t attribute to malice what is easily explained by incompetence.”
As Rossman said, the gravy train of Google money has made mozilla complacent and in many ways incompetent.
The one which works better for you. Using a browser you aren’t comfortable with or with issues for your use case isn’t that smart.

For android users Fennec, Iceraven, and Cromite are more or less the top 3 browsers that I would recommend to anyone who is concerned with security and privacy. All 3 are open source and free of ads and trackers. Fennec and Iceraven are Mozilla based and have the ability to install basically all available Firefox addons, both mobile and desktop, though many desktop based addons will have compatibility issues that often break the ability that they’ll work either at all or only partially, but generally I would say that the majority of Firefox’s most popular addons typically work with issue, much more so than what does or is even available for the original Firefox for android browser. Cromite is a fork of Chromium, which is the open source version of Google Chrome. Its webview based so feels very similar to Chrome. Cromite has many unique features with its primary focus on browser privacy and security in mind.

People love to troll Firefox. There are only 3 brower sources Google, Mozilla, and Apple. I choose Mozilla or a derivative of them.
