Hello!

I’m a big fan of the Barclays Women’s Super League, which is the top-flight women’s football/soccer league in the UK.

To that end, I’ve created a community here on Lemmy for just that!

I know sports is a fairly small niche on the Fediverse currently, and women’s sport in particular is an even smaller niche of that niche, but I’ve been taking advantage of the ability to cross-post from Mastodon to put any interesting topics that I’m sharing on Mastodon into the Lemmy community too.

On the off-chance of anyone interested in the WSL, you’ll find them there. I figure trying to diversity the appeal of Lemmy is worth the tiny effort it takes to copy in the community to what I’d be posting on Mastodon anyway. =)
