87 keys, volume knob, hot-swappable PCB, Dual Super Buttons (two massive programmable A and B buttons) and it looks amazing.

This is interesting, I wonder if they will ever do one based on older IBM type keyboards. I loved those. on 01 Aug 2023 08:09 collapse

The market for IBM Model M keyboard clones is already pretty full. on 01 Aug 2023 08:10 collapse

Cool, but I like 8Bitdo products, and they mainly handle controllers. It will be interesting to me to watch if they go that route. on 01 Aug 2023 08:19 next collapse

It's a neat curiosity, but it's not $100 neat

Why isn’t there a numpad? That’s pretty disappointing, honestly… I play a lot of games that make use of that. on 01 Aug 2023 08:32 next collapse

10-keyless keyboards are (kinda unfortunately IMO) popular with the custom keyboard crowd. I’m actually a little surprised that it’s not available in an even smaller form-factor. on 01 Aug 2023 09:27 next collapse

I also find entering numbers on a numpad to be much easier and feel more natural, probably because of growing up with calculators. They definitely have a place on modern keyboards. on 01 Aug 2023 12:42 collapse

Agreed, as cool as this looks, anything without a numpad is a no go for me - I use it daily on 01 Aug 2023 13:12 collapse

Yeah, last year I finally dipped my toes in mechanical keyboarding and my 2 requirements were to have a numpad and some media keys for volume and play/pause. It was actually kinda a nightmare to find. on 01 Aug 2023 16:31 collapse

Yep. Took me forever and I never found one I was completely satisfied with.

I’m rocking the GMMK Pro with the KBD Pad MK II on 02 Aug 2023 02:15 collapse

I eventually found a red dragon keyboard that I’m fairly happy with. I bought some custom key caps because the ones that it came with were Ugly.

It has a volume scroll wheel thing that’s pretty cool. Some macro programming stuff that idk what anyone really needs. on 06 Aug 2023 15:45 collapse

Really, this would have been an instant buy from me if it had a numpad. Kinda doesn’t make sense that a retro themed keyboard wouldn’t have it! I love everything about the design otherwise. on 01 Aug 2023 11:10 next collapse

These look great! They’re doing a lot of cool stuff lately. Now give me a translucent N64 version. on 01 Aug 2023 12:05 next collapse

I do need a new keyboard.. on 01 Aug 2023 12:58 next collapse

Pretty cool looking, but I’d need to know how sturdy it felt and what the keys were like before buying it. As a novelty alone I don’t think it is worth it, but if it is also a good keyboard then I might even get one. on 01 Aug 2023 13:17 next collapse

Shouldn’t this be a membrane keyboard instead of mechanical to REALLY get that NES feel? on 01 Aug 2023 14:48 next collapse

If they want to make a retro-styled keyboard they should make one without the “Windows” and “Menu” keys so that you can play Commander Keen and Duke Nukum the way they were meant to be played. on 01 Aug 2023 17:54 collapse

Tiny nitpick: why abbreviate some keys but not others?

Why not either INS | DEL or something like
