Majora’s Mask kicks so much ass. I gotta replay it some time this year. I tried out the Zelda64Recompiled version a few months back and was blown away.

Does it run at 60 fps like the Perfect Dark recomp etc? I love playing these N64 recomps with quality of life improvements on the SteamDeck.

I didn’t have an FPS counter turned on when I was playing around with it, but it seemed buttery smooth on my 60Hz monitor.
They did a remake on the 3DS, but I’d love one for the Switch or Switch 2. Rationalize the controls for modern gamepads (two joysticks, but only 4 face buttons), update the graphics, but keep the gameplay. Nintendo being Nintendo, they’ll feel obligated to add Amiibo integration, but at least that’s always optional.

There’s a fake one circulating (that even made it to the IMDB page!) that got me to look up the original.
Here’s the fake:

I beat it this year with the decompilation.
Excellent.
I remember this ad back in the day!
It’s such a a fun game. And the time travel mechanic was really creative.
What are you gonna do when the moon comes crashing into the Earth?
Probably die, if i had to guess
Witness the blood moon's fall...

The 3ds remake already has adapted controls.
It also has gyro aiming, which works great except that it makes the shooting gallery extremely easy 🤣
But the moon is lighter than the world…
This straight up makes it look like a Resident Evil-esque horror game.
