They are on what their 3rd delay now? I wouldn’t hold my breath on that being released next year either.

But if it does I would grab it quick before Nintendo sues them out of existence.

They’ve released multiple fpga devices for Nintendo platforms and not suffered one lawsuit. They’re pretty careful.

The US just awarded Nintendo one of the most generic and stupid patents on recorded history. As long as Nintendo is willing to send money to leadership in the form of bribes they can do whatever that want going forward. We live in an oligarchy with corporate DLC.

They’ve been unable to shut down any emulator that doesn’t need to circumvent copy protection, what makes you think they’d have better luck with FPGAs?

Mostly that up until recently you could have said the same about many things, with the common denominator to the recent exceptions being some large visible bribe to the office of the president.
