There is an art to it - picking away strategically for maximum feels-good relief. Bonus if you get it off in one piece using tiny scritches over a long period of time.

I picked a tiny little scab on my forearm yesterday. Didn’t think anything of it. 5 minutes later I look at my arm and there’s a significant streak of blood. I didn’t expect that scab to be so juicy
