Mamadou Ndiaye - aka Casual Geographic - needs to come here and do so, so many new Hinterland Who’s Who eps for us.
We should give him a new passport as part of the deal if he wants it. He’s like a national treasure for more than a few nations.

Isn’t the reason that plants invented caffeine in the first place was precisely to ward off pests, particularly arthropods? And it’s just cool as shit that it does other effects to mammals other than killing us?
Don’t you dare try to take away my coffee.

Yeah, arthropods have some of the same neurotransmitters and similar receptor proteins but it’s very different in their nervous system.

I like it when my mouth hurts while I chew 🤷♂️
Eating chillies is sadomasochism.
Fun tingles? They’re great and are required for some meals.

Today I learned caffeine has a similar effect on spiders to what alcohol has on humans. That spider is drunk.
I’m still trying to imagine the spider on LSD .
like whoa is that lady bug did it’s back just open to reveal robotic wings whaaaa
wait whaaat do I have 8 of these things omg what is shooting out of my asssssssssss why is it so satisfying
Imagine what it’s like to be tripping balls with 8 eyes.
I bet speed spider made like 3 of those and moved on to a new project that it didn’t finish
Okay so I know I’m not a spider but like, where do I sign up for these trials?
.
wait, was I just bullshited?
Are the other ones also not true? And I was so invested!

What about 8 glasses of water, eggs, milk, fruits, yogurt, vegetables and nuts?
The spider would burst

Isn’t this spider thing fake?
It is a lot funnier if we pretend that it isn’t.
Yes it is an old meme.
