The photo mode in Starfield is amazing. Here are all of my photos I've taken so far with 48h played. (imgur.com)

I wish the camera could clip through walls though. I’ve found camera mode to be extremely useful in other games that allow it to clip through and enter areas the player can’t. It’s like taking spy photos of something I’m not supposed to see :3

The photo mode is indeed cool, I wish you could move the camera around with the same controls as the player, and I wish it used the aspect ratio you are playing at (it doesn’t do 21:9.)

Have you checked Nexus?

edit: might request those tweaks from this dev? Or this one?

No I haven’t searched for a solution there. That second mod is a starfieldcustom.ini file edit that looks like it should work, thanks.

ETA: The second mod did work but unless you are trying to set up 32:9 ultra-wide or change FOV, there was only 1 or 2 lines you really needed. I think what did most of the work to get rid of the letterboxing is “bPhotoModeLetterBoxed=0” in the appropriate section.

No problem. Happy to help with a cursory glance. 🤙🏼

I cannot use photo mode. Pictures are not saved anywhere in pc and the gallery in the game remains empty. Any ideas?
