[Spoilers for a quest nane] Where should I stop in the main quest before finishing the entirety of the side content?

All I know is, I don’t want to get anywhere near “high price to pay” until I’m done with the side content completely.

I think you can get right up to it without triggering some events, tho as soon as it pops up on your quest log, cease all progress.

minimum? i suggest finishing “into the unknown”.

Personally, I’d finish it all before doing side quests. You’ll have plenty of time to do it later, and this recommendation will make a whole lot of sense when you finish it. Literally I’d just rush the main quest down if I were starting over from scratch.

Do whatever way you want though. It won’t hurt to wait for side content.

Cohh made a video about this, because he got the very same advice that you just gave. it ruined his playthrough and after hearing his reasons, I know that it would have ruined mine as well. so I would be very careful about this, it definitely depends on how you personally like to play and enjoy RPGs.

So for me, I’m very close to the end. Knowing what the end expects, I’m regretting everything I put time into prior. In particular, outposts. It just feels like it was a waste of time. I haven’t relaunched the game as I’m at the very end because I just lost all interest. I think I’m just going to wait until there are mod tools to fix outposts and stuff before I do any more.
