Yes, it’s been a long time getting from there to here, but I might have to unfurl my sails again.

Yeah, they all are, even though they probably would have been fun. I’d watch Bakula as Archer again too, I just think there’s zero percent chance it would be greenlit.
As insane as it would have been to have an Indiana Jones 4. It’s weird how they went from 3 straight to 5…

Mmmmmmmm…
What about continuing the Dominion thread? I am wide open to ideas there, but shapeshifters would both be awesome in modern CG and awesome as officers.

I’m under no illusions that this will actually happen - it’s just nice to know he’s interested.

Upon further consideration…
“Federation political drama” is a popular dream show for a lot of people. I’ve never been one of those people - the Federation is built on decades of contradictory nonsense, and anything they came up with would be under immense pressure to be a perfect political system - something that’s never been designed IRL, and probably never will.
But…setting it in the very early days of the UFP, as the characters themselves are trying to figure it out? There might actually be something there…
I’m one of those people, and really appreciated the little bits of political wrangling we saw in the last half of Discovery. And while I was never a fan of Enterprise, Bakula could kill it as the president of the Federation in its formative years. I love this idea.

We could have a convoluted retcon about Trip Tucker surviving somehow, but I kind of just want them to pull a Shaxs; someone brings it up and Tucker says, “We don’t talk about that.”

I can’t wait to put this on my shelf next to Enterprise S5-S7, Captain Worf, and Star Trek: Legacy.
Wasn’t Worf always a pipe dream.
Michael Dorn kept pitching it, but it was never going to happen.
@chiliedogg @themoken hopefully this won’t either.
I like Bakula in other media but loathed him as Archer.
I’d watch it for the Beagle.
It wouldn’t be Porthos, but I’d learn to love D’Artagnan.
These days? Shit, you can’t swing a dead cat without hitting a new Star Trek property. I thought he had a chance tbh.
It’s too bad they’re all in paramounts streaming service which I’ll never pay for
Have you considered the pirate life?
I shouldn’t have to
You shouldn’t have to, but where there’s a will . . .

I didn’t think it would happen, but I really wanted it to. Michael Dorn was so passionate about it, and i love the character
No room for “Star Trek Year One”?
Star Trek: Legacy the video game? Didn’t they make that…
Don’t forget the Section 31 movie! Can you believe how insane it would have been if they actually made that?

As long as Kurtzman isn’t involved…

@ValueSubtracted I gotta see if he discusses this on Sunday.
