I know there are people who share passwords with friends and such that does break the terms of service in a more reasonable way to pause an account.

I don’t get why I can still file my taxes at my parents house and have my home address for any legal purposes be that then still get kicked off Netflix. Like the government and my health insurance don’t care but Netflix does.

Health insurance never cared about your address, and you want to upload your tax returns to watch Netflix? Technically, lots of legal things, like taxes and voting, care about where you spend most of your time when determining your primary residence. So if you don’t live with your parents, yet are still filing with their address, that’s a problem.

It’s because the government isn’t after your data to sell you advertising… yet

Fuck netflix, amazon, disney & anyone else who thinks they can charge me for a service and dictate my privacy controls

YouTube, you can have 5x5 bucks or 5x0, choose wisely, it is not like uBlock is not working on your site.

It’s stupid it’s location based at all. Especially alienating PAYING customers, you’re shooting yourself in the foot. Accept that they’re paying and fuck off.

I’ll never subscribe to YouTube again, Revanced on phone (or Firefox and ublock), smarttube on tv.

Services will continue to try to squeeze more blood from the stone and then throw up their hands at why they are losing paying subscribers who don’t want to pay exorbitant prices for cheap reality programming or user-created content. 🤷‍♂️

Death by 1000 subscriptions.
