There is a new method used to calculate the least and most intrusive social media. The social media that collects personal data most might surprise you; I said might.
threaded - newest
It might be useful if they had bothered to link to the report they’re referencing, or maybe even tell us who made the report.
Figma, Netflix and Spotify are social media platforms now?
Spotify playlists I guess?
Figma balls
Jesus - they don’t even name the report so interested people can search for it. Lame.
Also, least-intrusive doesn’t mean most-trustworthy. Just don’t use any of them or, if you do, be sure to take all steps at your disposal to not give any personal information to them.
LIES
This has already changed a bit, and I suspect it will be changing more in the future. They've shut down third party apps already, meaning they can get a unique identifier for your phone when you're using the official Reddit app, and are making it harder to browse without being logged in. Anonymity is not just about hiding your real name; if they have your full Reddit use patterns between all of your devices, they know more than enough about you to show highly targeted ads and tweak their algorithm to fit your personality profile. Your legal name is not even relevant -- but also, would probably be easy enough to figure out by matching your Reddit interests with your Facebook/Google interests.
I highly doubt this is true.
Well that’s a fucking lie
Man, wait till this journalist hears about this little thing called the Fediverse.
