In my opinion this is the plan. He will mess with as much government bodies as possible crippling it. Then before it hits him in the face, he steps down.
What is left is a disfunctional government and no one left to blame.
It takes years to repair the damage and meanwhile everyone is shitting on the government for being disfunctional. Result is that people will say that subjects like social security don’t work and should be shut down. Who can oppose to that?

Just like last time?
But he’s too stupid for that. He wants so badly to be king when the problems catch up that he would destroy the country to do it. He had a years long tantrum after he lost the election.

This has been the plan since Reagan. Fuck up the government, run on a platform that the government sucks (because they fucked it up), allow Democrats to only fix half of the shit, GOP wins, repeat.
