I read that as pi hole and was confused because pi hole is licensed under the European Union Public License (EUPL) which I’m pretty sure can copy from GPL with attribution. Also they both block ads in very different ways.

Anyways isn’t it also weird, then, that there is an extension called pi blocker? Or pie blocker?

that’s probably their goal, confusing users who sort of heard about PiHole at some point but don’t remember the name or where to get it from.

Yeah the guy is a scam artist, of course he has a new scam, where he sells user information and you get a small percentage of it. Or he decides what ads are being shown and you get a small single digit percentage of that.
