Not everybody use FF or derivatives.

But everyone should … if Firefox had their act together.

Ironic how people advocate for browser monopoly when it’s their monopoly. Nothing new.

I’m not going to touch FF or any fork anymore as long as Mozilla is involved with its development/management (or until Mozilla dies for good).

What you just said makes no sense. Mozilla is already involved in Firefox and Firefox is far from a monopoly.

You just said that “everyone” should [use Firefox or derivatives].

lemm.ee/comment/21472440

thus advocating for a monopoly (but… a good one, right?)

I know Mozilla is involved with Firefox, and that’s precisely one of the reasons I won’t touch it anymore with a 10 feet pole.

So you need the self control required to add this extension for those sites you don’t have the self control not to visit too often?

daniskarma@lemmy.dbzer0.com on 27 Jun 11:03 next collapse

And you also need enough self control not to just disable it each time you want to enter.

vga@sopuli.xyz on 29 Jun 07:48 collapse

I don’t know about you, but the amount of self-control I have varies hugely during a typical month. So when I have more self-control, I can choose to help myself during the times when I have less.
