I’d like an e-ink monitor, but there’s a lack of competition and the prices remain too high. A 12" monitor for $849 is not worth it.

Yep, and the portable part sounds great but if i need a portable monitor I’m going to just use a laptop. $850 is 49" ultra wide territory.

I mean it’s an e ink display. There’s currently no economies of scale to help bring down cost. It’s a hyper niche device with probably an unknown market.
