They absolute can whitewash it. There’s a historical precedent for white washing war crimes over millennia. Generally you just have to dangle shiny objects in front of enough of the younger generation and they’ll carry the worldview you feed them for a lifetime. Social media just makes it all the more easier.
They have done it over and over again. This is not Israel’s first attempt at wiping out an entire Pestinian city yet most people acted as if it is and stayed silent for literal years.
They have enough money and friends in high places to recover from this, unfortunately, and they’ll keep doing it until Palestine is no more.
And they won’t stop there either. We’re talking about a country that repeatedly invaded all of its neighbors. They won’t stop there.

I don’t know what Israel’s term limits are or anything but I remember years ago learning he was on audio accepting a bribe and was probably going to be prosecuted. No wonder America and Israel are so friendly. Both corrupt to the core
