‘Moscow bans being outside while not being Vladimir putin in rare relaxation of tough being-outside rules’

SamsonSeinfelder@feddit.de on 08 Dec 2023 17:06 next collapse

Republicans blush at the amount of bans and cancellations of culture Russia is pushing out. The way Putin is dictating their citizens on how to live and what to say is the wet dream of the republican party.

BearOfaTime@lemm.ee on 08 Dec 2023 19:46 collapse

The self same Republicans you leftists accuse of being selfishly in dependant? You really need to get your insults and accusations straight there, mate.

Like how the Biden administration destroyed 40% of black owned businesses a couple years ago, using blatantly anti-scientific arguments.

The fascists in the US today are the democrats and the liberals who changed their shout from “fight the government” to “use the government to get our way”, you know, the very definition of fascism.

Your projection is showing.

Maybe go outside for a while instead of obsessing about things you clearly don’t understand.

I’m sure DJT’s YouTube channel can be trusted to offer unbiased, factual info. Right guys?

I’m shocked that you don’t actually know what fascism is. Shocked! Ok not that shocked.

vivadanang@lemm.ee on 08 Dec 2023 23:34 next collapse

you’re demented lol. seek help bud. wow.

Daxtron2@startrek.website on 09 Dec 2023 01:11 next collapse

I don’t think you’ve got any clue about the definition of fascism, and the distinction between Fascism and fascism

I always laugh when someone calls me a liberal, like bro liberals are center right compared to my beliefs.

PsychedSy@sh.itjust.works on 09 Dec 2023 22:48 collapse

There are a lot of leftists that’ll be voting for Biden next year. Do our views even matter when we don’t have a candidate to vote for?

Daxtron2@startrek.website on 09 Dec 2023 22:56 collapse

Yeah I’m not happy about it but I’ll do my civic responsibility to keep a fascist out of office. We gotta keep our views though if we ever want a chance of being represented.

Well said. I fight for the post-scarcity utopia I know we can create.

Barcodes that can accept text (Besides QR):

  • Aztec
  • Data Matrix
  • Code 128
  • PDF417
spamspeicher@feddit.de on 08 Dec 2023 18:48 collapse

Most Barcode scanners included in Android and iOS can’t read them though. I know at least for Data Matrix, only a few scanners can handle them.

CosmicTurtle@lemmy.world on 08 Dec 2023 21:36 collapse

I hate that the OG barcode scanner doesn’t work on my pixel anymore.

Another useful Google app killed.

spamspeicher@feddit.de on 08 Dec 2023 23:14 collapse

I use Binary Eye now, no ads, free and open source. It is built on zxing. I was a bit pissed when zxing scanner stopped working a few years ago. All the alternatives where ad infested crap back then.

CosmicTurtle@lemmy.world on 09 Dec 2023 00:39 collapse

Thanks for the recommendation! Yeah I can’t stand the ad infested barcode readers now. I’ve actually considered buying a dedicated Bluetooth barcode reader.

Carry a roll of QR codes and slap them on Putin’s propaganda.

Rentlar@lemmy.ca on 08 Dec 2023 18:33 next collapse

The most hilarious thing I read about was the Navalny city service line…

If you needed snow cleared or a pothole repair, spray paint “Навальный” on it, make sure someone notices and posts to social media and your issue will be resolved before you could say “СССР”.

It will be stickers with QR codes next, followed by QR codes in general.

“QR codes that serve as an online link contain various information and are prone to changes, which can violate the federal Law on Advertising,” writes Ivan Shubin, head of the city administration’s media department, adding: “especially considering increased hacker attacks and website breaches.”

So, are they banning all urls in billboards?
