Every Android rss reader I had used seems to not accept adding the following feeds, does any one use a client that support them?
Feeds:
threaded - newest
What not working/accepting? What errors you saw?
On capy reader it displays error that it couldn’t find a feed.
On the rest of the RSS readers it displays a similar error messages.
I use FreshRSS (a self-hosted RSS aggregator) with Read You (for Android) and have Techdirt and Cascade PBS working, I actually just added Cascade PBS today. Of course this might require you to self host FreshRSS, but FreshRSS is well worth it.
Looking at the feeds, they seem pretty standard. I’m surprised your app isn’t accepting them.
Self hosting is wonderful of course.
But at least for now, I can’t self host in any capacity. So I require a solution that work on demand on my device.
But thank you for the suggestion.
Just took a glance at the settings in Read You, it seems like you might be able to use it locally. Might be worth a try.

I tried the local option, sadly it does not work.
Bummer, that’s strange.
freshrss.org/cloud-providers.html
All of the providers are not in English or not working with the exception of decent.im/newsreader/ , which is a paid service, I can’t pay for currently.
I use the one from hostux.net, it’s quite easy to figure out what “login”, “password” and “remember me for 30 days” are in French.
Techdirt works on feeder
Actually it can add all of the three.
Thank you a lot, I will use it as my main RSS reader.
Feeder works fine with the 1st 2, but the last has no articles (i mean the file the site provides) so it’s hard to check. It can def. add it, tho
Yes, I now use it.
Thank you.
Try the ready made options at rss-bridge.org/bridge01/ , and if your sites aren’t listed, you can use the “CSS Selector Bridge” option there.
I found a RSS reader called feeder that can accept the feeds I listed.
But, thank you, I might check it out later.
I was able to add techdirt to Feedly too.
FeedMe works as well.
