I made a user script that will make a button on each video which jump you to piped, that way you can continue to use YT to manage your subscriptions and see your feed, but you never have to watch to video there

You rock, OP
fukk youtube
.
Its worth noting that piped.kavin.rocks is getting hammered right now, but it seems to be the most reliable instance going at the moment
Use farside when recommending alternative front ends. This way users will be redirected to a random working instance.
For piped you can use: farside.link/piped/
And for a video: farside.link/piped/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ
excellent I will update the script
Also: libredirect.github.io
Browser extension with support for a lot of different frontends.
I cant be the only one that cant watch piped videos. Ive tried several times ever since joining lemmy. They just never load, no matter rather i use my lemmy app or browser. I havent tried turning off my ad blocker, but that just doesn’t make sense to be the issue.
