might be just me, but i’ve also had problems with wd and sandisk on linux, unfortunately 😨

The only drives I have ever had fail were WD and sandisk (sandisk especially, good GOD never buy flash from sandisk)

Good question, I don’t know. If it is old shitty SSD you can exhaust lifetime write in days.
