Never thought I’d have to give the Texas government credit for anything tbh, but I’m glad to be wrong. Now if they wanna keep this momentum going and repeal all the awful dehumanizing laws they’ve passed recently, maybe I’d even start to respect them lmao

This is to siphon funds from the “woke liberals” of “big tech”. If it were a fossil fuel corporation, they would have never been charged or investigated in the first place.

As a Texan, it’s this. Ken Paxton is a ghoul, and this money will be squirreled away in their personal and already-gigantic slush fund, never to be seen again except by State officials and their friends.

I just wanted to drop another Texan voice to this and agree. I wish Paxton was as good as a ghoul.

They got this one right for the wrong reasons. It happens occasionally.

That means someone at meta thinks the evidence that will come in trial will cost them more than $1.4b
