This blew up pretty fast and hard. MKBHD released a wallpaper app that asks for a ton of data and only allows you to download 1080p wallpapers unless you pay $50.

If your ads provider says it follows your customers you either:
You can’t just say “naa they might say they do, but we won’t so it’s all good right? Trust me bro”
They did option 1. The big app stores require that disclosure these days.
Problem is, people were surprised that a stupid wallpaper app from a know person / brand had ads and ad tracking like scam mobile game.
Yes indeed then they received complaints about said disclosure and are attempting to make it out to be a mistake.
Releasing something isn’t “building in public”. Thats spin.
