I think I know who killed him.
By 11, he was programming on his own—a skill he used to playfully torment his friends. One remembers Balaji’s idea of a middle-school prank: writing code that deleted a friend’s Skyrim save file.

It was the year of the whistleblower deaths, that’s the answer.
I don’t like Bill Burr generally, but he’s spot on regarding corporate and Luigi. Corporate = modern mafia. There’s less “whacking”, as he calls it, because we’ve made most of their shenanigans legal. But, corporate (neo-Mafia?) will still “whack” a rat.

Trying to imagine the wrath i would’ve wroght if someone did this to my Pokemon red

People talk about 1984 not being an operating manual.
But jeez, Antitrust was not an operating manual. Nor Deus Ex…
Has she tried asking ChatGPT?
It’s like we’re living in the world of Cyberpunk 2077, but without the fucking cool shit
Lol this was good. Made me laugh. And cry a little.
I still can’t decide if it’s end-stage capitalism or beggining-stage cyberpunk, or both.
Honestly both
All of the bad shit of late capitalism and cyberpunk, with none of the cool stuff
