I’m really worried about my friend Kira and I need your help. Over the last few days, her dad has gone too far—he’s cut her off from every bit of social media, unplugged her internet, and flat-out threatened to fry her computer if she so much as whispers about what’s going on.

Kira managed to reroute her Mastodon account through me so she can send this message, but she’s terrified. He even forced her to delete every photo, every document—basically wiped out her entire digital life.

I feel helpless watching her stuck under his roof, constantly watched and silenced. That’s why I’m turning to our community: if you know any legal advocates, digital rights groups, or a safe place she can go, please reach out. Even a simple word of encouragement for her or a tip on where to find help could mean the world right now.
